Alamo Area Resource Center (AARC)
AARC, founded in 1990, provides services for those living with HIV/AIDS. Services advertised include, HIV-STI testing, PrEP and PEP, HIV speciality care, LGBTQ primary care and transgender health. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
Black Efforts Against the Threat of AIDS (known as BEAT AIDS), founded in 1987 by Mel Johnson, brings services to combat HIV/AIDS directly to those in need. Esperanza Peace and Justice Center
Founded in 1987, the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center is dedicated to bringing “together diverse movements for peace and justice".” Esperanza hosts annual events like Paseo por el Westside, and programming throughout the year like Noche Azul de Esperanza and the MujerArtes Clay Cooperative. Fiesta Youth, founded in 2013, is dedicated to LGBTQ+ teens, young adults and allies that seeks to “empower youth to build a future where all people are accepted.” Fiesta Youth weekly meetings for teens and young adults and biweekly for parents, and hosts multiple events throughout their year. The Kind Clinic provides sexual health and wellness services like PrEP, STI testing and treatment, and intersex and gender affirming care. Operation Brave’s, founded in 2020, mission is to “reduce the number of new HIV infections in the United States by at least 90% by 2030.” They offer services like housing assistance, HIV treatment and partner with other organizations like AARC, BEAT AIDS, SAAF, FAM210 and SACRD. Pride Center San Antonio (known as The Center or Pride Center), founded in 2011 with its origins dating to 2009, is Bexar County’s flagship nonprofit and hub of the LGBTQIA+ community for the area. The Center hosts programming like Binders for Brothers SA, Trans Masc Folks y Más and Women in Transition, as well as annual events like the Icon’s Brunch and Pride Families Fall Festival. Pride San Antonio, founded in 2011, organizes the annual Pride “Bigger Than” Texas Festival & Parade, sports leagues and the SA Qfest Film Festival.

San Antonio Gender Association (SAGA)
SAGA is a peer-to-peer support nonprofit dedicated to “uplifting the lives of transgender and gender diverse individuals.” They host social events, special events in collaboration with other organizations, and regular membership meetings. San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce
The SA LGBT Chamber, founded in 2008, is dedicated to providing” equitable access and economic opportunity for LGBTQ+ owned and allied businesses.” Their directory also holds a list of verified-LGBTQ+ owned businesses. The SMTXQC is a peer-led organization that hosts events at the San Marcos Public Library for the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Hays County. Orgullo de San Antonio (LULAC 22198)

Trans Allies San Antonio is a support group for local “parents, spouses, and allies of transgender humans.” Trans Allies SA hosts monthly events through the Pride Center. Visit them on Instagram.
Social Organizations
Black, Queer & Here is an 18+ support group focused on the Black LGBTQIA+ community. BGH hosts monthly meetings at the Pride Center for approved members. Follow on Instagram.
Down2Gayme is a LGBTQ+ Meetup group that meets biweekly at Black Potion, “a tabletop game tavern,” along with other events. You can find their events on Instagram and their Meetup profile.
JansRainbow League is a bowling league that hosts multiple league seasons throughout the year, that meets at Astro Super Bowl. JRL is also part of the International Gay Bowling Organization. You can find more info on their Facebook.
Pride of San Antonio Show Band
The Pride of San Antonio Show Band, founded in 2013, rehearses weekly and holds concerts throughout the year. This community band takes in musicians with all ability levels, and rehearse at Woodlawn Pointe. You can find their events on Facebook and Instagram.
