Our Story

Growing up in South Texas, there were few Queer spaces, so this is an act of love for ourselves, and our community. We created SATX.gay because there was a need to unify the queer communities in South and Central Texas, and create a communal (virtual) space. The idea came after having to seek out – from each venue on each social platform – an itinerary for Pride month at a news organization. Thus, a passion project was born.
