The Big Give, South Texas’ 24-hour online giving day, runs from 6 p.m. Sept. 23 to 6 p.m. Sept. 24, and we’re treating it as a Big Gay Give. Wherever you live in Texas, it’s a day to support the LGBTQ+ nonprofits in your area, through thebiggivesa.org if they’re taking part or directly through their websites.
In San Antonio, that includes the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center, which has a Big Give page with a $26,000 goal, Fiesta Youth, AARC, BEAT AIDS, Living Positive San Antonio and SAAF, along with the other groups in our directory.
If you can’t give money, sharing their campaigns and going to their events helps too.
