Divine Identity is a photo exhibit by photographer Salgu Wissmath that celebrates queer people of faith by turning their portraits into sacred icons. It is on display at Travis Park United Methodist Church from Oct. 10 through Nov. 30.
The exhibit is open Sundays, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4:30–7 p.m., or by appointment with the church at 210-226-8341, ext. 333, or [email protected].
It can also be seen at three events: the artist reception on Saturday, Oct. 10, 5:30–8:30 p.m.; a Trans Day of Remembrance viewing on Friday, Nov. 20, 5–9 p.m.; and the closing reception on Sunday, Nov. 22, 3–5:30 p.m.
