Travis Park United Methodist Church hosts the opening reception for Divine Identity, a photo exhibit by photographer Salgu Wissmath that celebrates queer people of faith. Wissmath gives an artist talk at 6:30 p.m. The San Antonio LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce sponsors the reception.
The exhibit stays up at the church through Nov. 30. It is open Sundays, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4:30–7 p.m., or by appointment with the church, and during Trans Day of Remembrance on Friday, Nov. 20, 5–9 p.m. A closing reception is Sunday, Nov. 22, 3–5:30 p.m. The church has a small paid lot next door, and Travis Park Plaza Garage is across the street.
