The McNay wraps its Angels in America screenings with Part Two: Perestroika, the second half of Mike Nichols’ 2003 adaptation of Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play. It runs about three hours, with an intermission.
It’s part of the museum’s A People’s History: The American Experiment on Stage exhibition. Part One screens Sept. 27 with a community panel on HIV/AIDS.
