The Royal, Sovereign and Imperial Court of the Alamo Empire, Inc. is a San Antonio–based LGBTQ+ volunteer nonprofit founded in 1990, raising funds through drag performances, pageantry, galas, and community events. Their primary focus is supporting agencies that assist those living with HIV/AIDS and other medical and quality of life issues across Bexar County. Their annual Coronation event marks the transition between reigning monarchs and serves as their signature fundraiser. The Alamo Empire is also part of the United Courts of Texas and the International Court System.
