Thrive Youth Center’s annual National Coming Out Day brunch, Disco & Discourse: Raise Your Voice, raises money for the center’s work with LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness in San Antonio. Disco singer Martha Wash performs, and scholar and activist Dr. Cornel West joins Dr. Christopher Phillips for a panel conversation. Guests are invited to come dressed in their best disco attire.
As of Sept. 22, the $150 Seat of Support and the $5,000 Shine Out Loud Table were sold out on the ticket page.
